Jesus says in Luke 4:18-19:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

At Sandbridge Community Chapel UMC we believe that serving others goes hand-in-hand with helping to spread the Good News and living into our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

During his ministry, Jesus taught us how to reach out to the lost, the poor, the broken, the needy, and the marginalized. Through mission and outreach we are helping to bring the presence and love of God to those who are in need.

We offer the opportunity to serve in or support mission projects within our community, nationally and globally. It is our hope that you will invest your time, talents, and resources into helping us continue to share the Gospel with those in our midst!

You are welcome to join the team and take part in one of our mission/outreach opportunities! If you’d like to learn about the specific ways you can serve, please contact our Missions Coordinator Libbie Goetz, by emailing LibbieGoetz@gmail.com
